10 Seconds of Meditation

Ten seconds is good enough. One minute is even better but only if you commit.

10 Seconds of Meditation

“I don’t have time” is the lamest excuse you can conjure up as a defense for not starting a daily meditation practice. Using this excuse is a sign that you need to start a practice. Now.

All you need is 10 seconds.

Follow these steps:

  • Sit, lie down or stand upright
  • Close your eyes
  • Become aware of your breath
  • Breathe in deeply through your nose
  • Breath out deeply through your mouth

That’s it. Do this daily.

Do you have more than 10 seconds? Great! How long you meditate for is up to you. Start with the amount of time that’ll ensure you won’t miss a day. Ten seconds is good enough. One minute is even better but only if you commit.

Start. Go.

Add it to your to-do list. Meditation is on my to-do list even though I’ve been meditating daily since July 2017. It ensures I’ll never miss a day even if my environment drastically changes (more on this in another post).

Breathe.
